We love this elegant 60s bookcase! We completely fell for its teak structure and simple lines. The sliding glass doors allow you to showcase your books and objects while protecting them, and the height-adjustable shelves offer great flexibility for organizing your storage space.
Please note, slight traces of wear from its past life are visible in the photos, especially on one corner. In addition, the windows are not removable.

A short history of the window display
The term "showcase" appeared in the 18th century, although this type of furniture has its roots in Renaissance cabinets of curiosities. Composed of glass doors and shelves, the display case is designed to display and protect precious objects, porcelain, and souvenirs. Originally, this piece of furniture was a symbol of prestige, allowing noble and bourgeois families to showcase their collections.
