Discover this vintage rug, created in 1980 in the village of Alfaite, woven from cotton and linen for a soft feel and natural drape. Its graphic stripes—electric blue, beige, black, taupe, and white—structure the space and bring a contemporary contrast without overpowering the room. Ideal for a medium-sized living room or bedroom, it lends itself to layering or becoming a focal point, creating a warm and slightly bohemian atmosphere. Increasingly rare, these "mantas de trapos" are sourced by Saudade Design throughout Portugal. Handmade, sometimes centuries old, they bear witness to ancestral craftsmanship and stand the test of time without losing their luster. These soulful rugs are brought back into the spotlight to continue to be passed down, whether on the floor or on the wall. Machine washable at 40°C.
