A brief history of the pantry
The pantry, once an essential element in every home, was much more than just a storage piece. Before the arrival of refrigerators, it was used to keep food away from heat and pests. Designed in wood with fine grilles or mesh panels, it allowed air to circulate while protecting provisions. Today, the pantry is making a strong comeback, embodying the charm of yesteryear while bringing a rustic and functional touch to our modern kitchens. It is the perfect opportunity to rediscover this essential item from the past and give it a place in your interior once again.
