With the silhouette of a dark wood farmhouse sideboard, this vintage two-piece cupboard combines a glazed upper section featuring patterned glass with a more understated lower section, creating a refined presence in the home. The upper niche features two interior shelves, a middle niche, and two drawers in the lower part, offering a perfect balance between storage and display. Below, two doors conceal an interior shelf, convenient for dishes, table linens, or larger items. The clear glass lightens the overall look and lets your finest tableware shine through. In a dining room, it would be the perfect home for a stack of vintage plates, glass jars, and a ceramic lamp. As a second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its history: a few signs of wear from time.

A little history of the sideboard
Anchored in the daily life of 19th-century provincial homes, the farmhouse sideboard is the guardian of generous meals. Crafted from solid woods like oak or cherry, it stands out for its sober lines and unique patina, a testament to the passage of time. Whether called a "low sideboard" or a "two-piece cupboard," it fits into a Rustic or Country Chic style depending on its ornamentation. Unlike formal living room furniture, it prioritizes functionality with its large doors and deep drawers.
