A short story about the worker
The worker, also called sewing worker or sewing cabinet, is a small piece of furniture mounted on legs, composed of compartments that open or unfold to allow access to utensils useful for sewing. Widely used in homes in the 20th century, the worker has gradually had other uses. Today it can be used as a side table, end table, toy chest or bedside table...
