By their construction, each bench is unique. Regarding maintenance, don't forget to dust your teak bench regularly with a damp cloth to prevent it from tarnishing. You can also dilute linseed oil with turpentine. This makes the solution more fluid for better penetration of the product into the wood. If your bench is stained, place a little Marseille soap on a damp, non-abrasive sponge then pass it over the stain, rubbing gently. If the stain is too encrusted, you can also use fine-grained sandpaper on the affected area.

If you install your bench outdoors, you can use teak oil to protect it. Applied once a year , it will effectively protect it against humidity and the sun's rays which can cause it to lose its original color. To treat your bench, apply two or three coats of teak oil with a soft cloth before leaving to dry for three days .
