This wooden desk combines a dark brown top with camel and beige sides, in a contemporary style that is easy to integrate into a polished interior. Its two drawers easily accommodate notebooks, pens, and papers, while its height allows for comfortable seated work. The warm shades of the wood give it a soft appearance, ideal for a living room or a workspace. Second-hand, it retains the memory of its past: a few traces of time.

Length: 94 cm
Width: 58 cm
Height: 82 cm
Seat height: 63 cm
Drawer height: 9 cm

A short history of the desk
It all began with the "bure," a thick, brown wool cloth that covered the tables of copyist monks to protect their precious manuscripts. By extension, the table itself eventually took the name of the fabric that covered it: the bureau (desk). Unlike the secretary desk, it is defined by its large fixed top and visible base, offering a space for reflection without artifice. Also called a "flat desk," it remains the centerpiece for anchoring a workspace with character.
