Add a touch of elegance to your space with this 1960s Scandinavian desk, combining functionality and aesthetics. Its tapered legs and clean lines evoke the charm of vintage design while offering a generous workspace with its three practical drawers. Crafted from wood, it stands out with its refined handles and unique look, bringing both a retro and modern atmosphere to your interior. Some signs of wear add to its authenticity.

Length: 100 cm
Depth: 60 cm
Height: 74 cm
Drawer height: 12 cm
Height under the top: 70 cm

A brief history of the desk
It all began with the "bure," a thick, brown wool cloth that covered the tables of copyist monks to protect their precious manuscripts. By extension, the table itself eventually took the name of the fabric that covered it: the "bureau" (desk). Unlike the secretary desk, it is defined by its wide, fixed top and visible legs, offering a space for reflection without artifice. Also known as a "flat desk," it remains the centerpiece for anchoring a workspace with character.
