This teak and glass display cabinet captivates with its Art Deco-style front and beautiful transparency, ideal for showcasing tableware or a few select items. Originating from India, it combines a teak frame with two glass doors, accented by four panes, and a beige painted interior that softens the overall look. Its three deep shelves offer generous storage space, perfect for bottles, dinnerware, or folded linens. The natural patina of time gives it a soft, vibrant touch, while the beige patina enhances its contemporary elegance. In a living room, it would look superb filled with vintage glasses, light-colored ceramics, and a few collector's books.

A brief history of the display cabinet
Born in the 18th century, the display cabinet transformed the closed sideboard into a stage for precious objects, protected from dust yet on full display. It originally served as a "showcase" for goldsmiths, using glass—then a material of great luxury—to signal a household's wealth even before revealing its contents. Its lightweight structure, punctuated by transparent walls and often adjustable shelves, allows for the staging of collections without visually cluttering the space. Today, it remains the ideal piece of furniture for bringing clarity to a room while transforming your memories and curiosities into a personal and refined exhibition.
