This cream resin wall lamp, with its vintage, country charm, diffuses a soft and delicate ambiance on a living room, hallway, or bedroom wall. Its heat-bonded resin tile relief gives it a decorative presence, while its size makes it suitable for use as either a wall hook or a light fixture. Found second-hand, it pairs easily with natural materials, a light-toned painted wall, or a well-kept entryway. Installed alone above a console or paired with an antique mirror, it creates a balanced ensemble. As a second-hand piece, it holds the memory of its past: a mark on the top.

A brief history of the wall lamp
The wall lamp descends from medieval "light arms," those torches fixed to walls to illuminate hallways without obstructing the passage. Long before electricity, it was a marvel of ingenuity: it often incorporated a mirror plate or polished metal at the back, a technical trick essential for doubling the candle's glow through simple reflection. In the 18th century, it moved from passageways to reception rooms, adorning itself with bronze and crystal to become a true instrument of staging. Its wall position then allowed for highlighting woodwork and architectural reliefs, creating plays of shadow impossible to achieve with central lighting.
