Invite elegance into your home with this round pedestal table, delicately enhanced with golden edges. It combines lightness and modernity for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its two shelves offer an ideal space to display your decorative objects or favorite books, while adding a retro touch to your decor. This piece, perfect as a side table in a living room or entryway, shows some signs of wear that add to its authenticity.

Height: 45 cm
Diameter: 33 cm

A brief history of the pedestal table
Appearing in the 17th century, the "guéridon" takes its name from a ballet character, "Guéridon," who held a torch. Initially designed as a stand for lighting (candlesticks, lamps), this small occasional table is distinguished by its circular top resting on a single central base. Whether in the Empire style made of solid mahogany or the Seventies style in rattan, it adapts to all interiors as a sofa end or display table. Today, it remains the centerpiece for structuring a reading nook with elegance and lightness.
