This pair of light wood stools, with a vintage style, captivates with its simplicity and discreet presence. Well-crafted in pine, it combines a folding backrest with a circular hole that makes it easy to grasp and move. In a kitchen or dining room, these second-hand seats offer a flexible solution for hosting guests, then fold away when you need to clear space. Their vintage Arc aesthetic pairs easily with a rustic table, a light-colored wall, or thrifted finds. Hung on the wall, they create an elegant scene with a few vintage tea towels and a wooden bread board.

A brief history of the stool
The oldest seat in history, the stool is the direct ancestor of the chair, from which it is distinguished by the absence of a backrest and armrests. In the Middle Ages, it was the universal seat for commoners, while among the nobility, the "right to a stool" became a highly codified court privilege, allowing ladies to sit in the presence of the king. Its structure, resting on three or four legs, is a feat of stability and lightness, designed to be tucked under a table or moved with a single motion. Whether it’s a raw wood farmhouse style or an industrial design, it embodies the ultimate space-saving furniture today, offering extra seating that never clutters the visual space.
