Discover this vintage rug, hand-woven in Castelo Branco in 1968 from cotton and linen. It features a succession of stripes – dark blue, yellow, orange, beige, pink, green, purple, and sky blue – and is bordered by a deep red edge. Its artisanal weave and colorful palette offer a style that is both rustic and contemporary, perfect for adorning a living room, dining room, or adding a warm touch at the foot of a bed. It emanates a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Increasingly rare, these "mantas de trapos" are sourced by Saudade Design throughout Portugal. Handmade, sometimes centuries old, they bear witness to ancestral craftsmanship and withstand the test of time without losing their luster. These soulful rugs are brought back into the spotlight to continue their legacy, whether on the floor or as a wall hanging. Machine washable at 40°C.
