Delicate and unique, this vintage elm burr veneer bedside table captivates with its dark wood and carved legs, reflecting a balanced country spirit. Its compact size allows it to easily find its place by the bed, while offering practical storage thanks to its drawer. The elm burr provides a rich, nuanced texture, ideal for warming up a bedroom without weighing down the decor. It pairs naturally with vintage linens, a ceramic table lamp, and a few books kept within easy reach. Placed on a wool rug, it will gladly hold a glass of water and a bouquet of dried flowers.

A brief history of the bedside table
The term "chevet" (bedside table) has referred to a small piece of furniture placed next to the bed since the Middle Ages. Initially designed as a stand for a lamp or personal items, the bedside table evolved over time to include drawers and shelves. Essential in the bedroom, it now combines functionality with design, adapting to all interior styles.
