With its Art Deco country style, this amber wood bedside table adds a soft, refined touch next to the bed. Its compact size allows it to easily find its place in any bedroom, while offering a curved cupboard, a drawer, and a nook to keep books, glasses, or evening essentials within reach. The amber tone warms up the room and pairs beautifully with linen, a ceramic lamp, or a wooden headboard. It can also be imagined as a side table, to hold a carafe, a novel, and a candle. As a second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its history: the shelf top is slightly warped.

A little history of the bedside table
Since the Middle Ages, the term "chevet" has referred to a small piece of furniture placed next to the bed. Initially designed as a stand for a lamp or personal items, the bedside table has evolved over time to include drawers and shelves. Essential in the bedroom, it now combines functionality and design, adapting to all interior styles.
