This pair of wooden bedside tables, in a country style, adds a soft and sober touch to the bedside. Their nook with a shelf offers ideal storage for a book, glasses, or a few nighttime items, while their height makes them easy to slide next to a bed. The light wood emphasizes a discreet and bright presence, pleasant in a bedroom with a natural atmosphere. Curated vintage finds, they pair beautifully with vintage linens, a ceramic lamp, or an alarm clock placed on top. Placed on either side of a wooden bed, they create a harmonious and functional scene. Like any second-hand piece, they bear the marks of their history: a few traces of time.

A brief history of the bedside table
The term "chevet" (bedside table) has referred to a small piece of furniture placed next to the bed since the Middle Ages. Initially designed as a support for a lamp or personal items, the bedside table evolved over time to include drawers and shelves. Essential in the bedroom, it now combines functionality and design, adapting to all interior styles.
