This wall-mounted wooden and silver-metal coat rack adds a touch of distinguished country charm right from the entryway. Its six hooks provide a neat place for coats, bags, and scarves, while its metal details highlight a design that is both understated and sturdy. Installed in a hallway or on a bedroom wall, it complements both a family home atmosphere and a more minimalist decor featuring linen textiles, accent baskets, or a wooden bench. As a second-hand item, this coat rack bears the marks of its history: a few signs of wear and tear.

A brief history of the coat rack
The term "porte-manteau" appeared in the 18th century, although the concept dates back to antiquity. Initially just simple hooks attached to walls, it evolved into an elegant and functional support, often freestanding. First appearing in the halls of bourgeois homes, it held coats and hats, quickly becoming an essential element of interior design. Today, the coat rack adapts to all styles, combining practicality with aesthetics.
