A Brief History of the Sideboard
It was in the 1950s that the first Scandinavian sideboards appeared. The Scandinavian-style sideboard was part of the innovative post-war furniture. Its airy lines and rectilinear volumes adopted the sober style of modernist inspiration, with all the characteristics of Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish designers... The Scandinavian sideboard is made using traditional cabinetmaking, generally in teak wood. It is used as a replacement for the traditional dining room buffet and now serves as a console. For a stylish and pleasant living room, the sideboard is the perfect piece of furniture!
