Description

Discover this large Scandinavian sideboard from the 1960s by French manufacturer Eros. Its teak veneer, ornate handles, and tapered legs make it an iconic piece of mid-century style. It's eye-catching and will easily find its place as a TV stand, bar cabinet, or storage unit for your essentials. Its numerous compartments make it a practical everyday companion. Some signs of wear are visible, but the overall look is in very good condition.

A short history of the enfilade
The first Scandinavian sideboards appeared in the 1950s. The Scandinavian-style sideboard is part of the innovative post-war furniture. Its airy lines and rectilinear volumes reflect the sober style of modernist inspiration, with all the characteristics of Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish designers. The Scandinavian sideboard is made of traditional cabinetry, generally teak wood. It is used as a replacement for the traditional dining room buffet and now serves as a console table. For a designer and pleasant living room, the sideboard is the perfect piece of furniture!
