A brief history of the bedside table
The term "chevet" (bedside table) has referred to a small piece of furniture placed next to the bed since the Middle Ages. Initially designed as a stand for a lamp or personal items, the bedside table evolved over time to include drawers and shelves. Essential in the bedroom, it now combines functionality and design, adapting to all interior styles.
