This light wood rattan coffee table brings a delicately woven country touch to the living room. Its round top is perfect for everyday moments, from an open book to tea served on a tray, all while maintaining a light aesthetic. This secondhand, vintage find pairs beautifully with a linen sofa, a few cushions in natural materials, and a rug in soft tones. In a reading nook, it can hold a lamp, a vase of dried flowers, and a few magazines for a simple, polished look.

Height: 45 cm
Diameter: 75 cm

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table only truly appeared at the beginning of the 20th century as living rooms evolved toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seat of armchairs, was inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Referred to as a "salon table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous surface supported by short, sturdy legs.
