With its raw, dark-toned wood and four brutalist-inspired legs, this round coffee table brings a touch of chic countryside style to the living room. The wood gives it a warm presence, while the circular top softens the composition and easily accommodates books, a vase, or a coffee cup. Its height makes it perfect for pairing with a sofa to create an elegant and functional conversation area. A vintage find, it fits just as well in a minimalist interior as in a more rustic decor, where it complements linen, ceramics, or a textured rug. In daily use, it can hold a stack of beautiful books and a lamp beside the sofa.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly emerge until the early 20th century as living rooms evolved toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, deliberately low to align with the seat of armchairs, was inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "salon table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous tabletop supported by a short, sturdy base.
