With its dark wood and the look of a secondhand coffee table, this piece brings a country touch to a refined living room. Its tabletop, featuring a cork-effect vinyl finish, creates a subtle contrast with the light wood, while its four legs provide a balanced visual foundation. Ideal in front of a sofa, it easily holds a few books, a coffee cup, or a low vase without crowding the space. In a naturally decorated room, it pairs beautifully with a linen armchair and a woven rug. Placed in the center of the living room, it lends itself perfectly to a reading scene with a stack of books and a glass carafe.

Height: 52 cm
Diameter: 64 cm

A short history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly emerge until the early 20th century as living rooms evolved toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seat of armchairs, was inspired by Oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "salon table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous surface supported by short, sturdy legs.
