With its scalloped top and tapered legs, this wooden coffee table evokes a country elegance, delicately inspired by the Louis XV style. A vintage find, it charms with the warmth of its fruitwood and its understated presence, ideal in a living room next to a linen sofa or an antique armchair. Its small integrated drawer offers discreet storage for a notebook, remote controls, or a few coasters, while its height makes it easy to accommodate a lamp, an art book, or a low bouquet. Placed on a natural fiber rug, it creates a refined and timeless scene.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the early 20th century with the evolution of living rooms toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, deliberately low to align with the seating of armchairs, is inspired by Oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous top supported by a short, sturdy base.
