With its dark wood and simple lines, this vintage coffee table brings a country touch to a living room. Its modest size allows it to easily find its place in front of a sofa, while its single drawer offers discreet storage for remote controls, notebooks, or coasters. The wooden material, with its deep hue, lends itself well to warm atmospheres and interiors combining rattan, linen, or ceramic. It can also complement a reading corner, with a stack of beautiful books and a table lamp. As a second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its history: a few traces of time.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the beginning of the 20th century, with the evolution of living rooms toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seat of armchairs, is inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous tabletop supported by short, sturdy legs.
