With its light rattan and country spirit, this vintage serving trolley brings a soft and refined touch to the home. Its two shelves provide space to arrange a few glasses, a tea set, or books, while the niche easily accommodates everyday items to keep close at hand. In a kitchen or a dining room, it is just as suitable for occasional use as it is for a curated display. We imagine it filled with jars, with a lamp placed on the top shelf or a bouquet of fresh flowers to highlight the delicacy of its material. A second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its past: a few traces of time.

A brief history of the serving trolley
The serving trolley, also known as a tea trolley or butler's table, emerged in the 17th century. At the time, it was used to serve and clear dishes and tableware during meals. Equipped with wheels, it could be moved from one place to another without effort and made clearing the table faster by reducing the number of trips between the dining room and the kitchen. Because of its great utility, the serving trolley became an important piece of furniture, also used for serving tea or breakfast. This small, mobile side table has found a prime place in our homes over the centuries.
