With its white resin and contemporary look, this curated side table adds a sober, graphic touch to the living room. The resin block, designed by Palaret and made in Finland, offers a clean presence, while the cubby keeps vinyl records close at hand. Placed next to a sofa or at the end of an armchair, it serves as a stand for a lamp, a few magazines, or a decorative object. Its compact height allows it to remain unobtrusive on the floor while providing useful storage. Tucked into a reading corner, it pairs perfectly with a turntable and a neatly organized stack of records.

A brief history of the side table
Born in the 17th century under the name "guéridon," the side table owes its origin to the Moorish slaves (called guéridons) depicted on the carved legs of the first models brought back from Italy. This mobile piece of furniture revolutionized social life at court by breaking the rigidity of large sideboards to create conversation islands anywhere in the room. Its light and compact structure was designed to be moved according to need: to hold a candlestick, a cup of tea, or a bedside book.
