This white resin vinyl rack, a vintage find with a contemporary style, commands a graphic presence while remaining easy to integrate into a living room or office. Its smooth material and wood-resin block give it a sober composure, while the white hue adds a luminous, very current touch. Designed to hold vinyl records, it can also serve as a side table for placing a lamp, a few magazines, or a catch-all tray. The Palaret label and the "Made in Finland" mark sign off on a piece with a clean design that pairs naturally with a fabric sofa, a low wooden cabinet, or a turntable set up in a reading nook. Topped with an art book and a small vase, it creates a refined music corner.

A brief history of the side table
Born in the 17th century under the name "guéridon," the side table owes its origin to the Moorish slaves (called "guéridons") depicted on the carved legs of the first models brought back from Italy. This nomadic piece of furniture revolutionized social life at court by breaking the rigidity of large sideboards to create conversation islands anywhere in the room. Its light and compact structure was designed to be moved according to one's needs: to hold a candlestick, a cup of tea, or a bedside book.
