Crafted in light wood, this vintage side table charms with its contemporary simplicity and discreet drawer, perfect for housing everyday essentials. Its warm material allows it to pair beautifully with a fabric sofa, a leather armchair, or a minimalist bedroom without overwhelming the space. The tabletop is ideal for holding a lamp, a book, or a glass, while the drawer provides additional storage for lighter items. Its balanced proportions make it easy to slip in at the end of a sofa, by a bed, or in an entryway. Topped with a ceramic vase and a glass trinket tray, it creates a sober and refined display.

A brief history of the side table
Born in the 17th century under the name "guéridon," the side table owes its origin to Moorish slaves (called guéridons) depicted on the carved legs of the first models brought from Italy. This mobile piece of furniture revolutionized social life at court by breaking the rigidity of large sideboards to create conversation hubs anywhere in the room. Its light and compact structure was designed to be moved as needed: to hold a candlestick, a cup of tea, or a bedside book.
