This second-hand walnut sideboard, in a honey-colored tone, brings a very soft and warm country-style touch. Its three drawers and two magnetic doors offer welcome storage in a dining room or kitchen, while the height of the shelves allows for storing tableware and jars. The different drawer handles give it a unique detail, and the carved decor at the bottom, with a shell shape carved in the center of the lower rail, highlights its solid wood craftsmanship. You can display a few ceramic pieces on the top, or keep an antique service tucked away behind the doors. Beneath a bouquet of wildflowers, it creates a warm and refined scene. Some signs of age are present.

A brief history of the sideboard
Anchored in the daily life of 19th-century provincial homes, the country sideboard is the guardian of generous meals. Crafted from solid woods such as oak or cherry, it is distinguished by its sober lines and unique patina, a witness to the passage of time. Whether called a "low sideboard" or a "two-body sideboard," it fits into a Rustic or Country Chic style depending on its ornaments. Unlike formal parlor furniture, it prioritizes functionality with its wide doors and deep drawers.
