With its combination of light wood and white, this second-hand farmhouse-style side cabinet brings a soft and polished touch to the home. Its light wood top gives it a warm look, while its three drawers offer valuable storage for table linens, cutlery, or small everyday accessories. At the bottom, its white hatch opens onto a useful storage space for keeping jars, dishes, or provisions close at hand. A brief history of the sideboard
Rooted in the daily life of 19th-century provincial homes, the farmhouse sideboard is the guardian of generous tables. Crafted from solid woods like oak or cherry, it is distinguished by its sober lines and unique patina, a witness to the passage of time. Whether called a "low sideboard" or a "two-tier sideboard," it fits into a Rustic or Country Chic style depending on its ornaments. Unlike formal parlor furniture, it prioritizes functionality with its wide doors and deep drawers.
