This light wood sideboard, with a farmhouse style, brings a soft and refined touch to a dining room or kitchen. Made of fir, it has been entirely sandblasted and treated, then reworked with a slightly whitewashed effect. Its two drawers with metal handles, complemented by two doors and a decorative key, offer organized storage for tableware, table linens, or everyday items. The shelf easily accommodates any daily object. As a second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its past: two holes on the top surface linked to its history, as it previously had a top section that once completed it.

A brief history of the sideboard
Anchored in the daily life of 19th-century provincial homes, the farmhouse sideboard is the guardian of generous meals. Crafted from solid woods such as oak or cherry, it is distinguished by its sober lines and unique patina, a witness to the passage of time. Whether called a "low sideboard" or a "two-tier sideboard," it fits into a Rustic or Farmhouse Chic style depending on its ornamentation. Unlike formal parlor furniture, it prioritizes functionality with its wide doors and deep drawers.
