A brief history of the sideboard
Rooted in the daily life of 19th-century provincial homes, the farmhouse sideboard is the guardian of generous meals. Crafted from solid woods like oak or cherry, it is distinguished by its simple lines and unique patina, a testament to the passage of time. Whether called a "low sideboard" or a "two-body sideboard," it fits into a Rustic or Country Chic style depending on its ornamentation. Unlike formal living room furniture, it prioritizes functionality with its large doors and deep drawers.
