This small, round, dark wood winemaker's table brings a touch of chic country style, with a discreet presence and beautiful material. Its folding format makes it an easy-to-move vintage side table, ideal in a living room as a stand for a lamp, a few books, or a cup of coffee. The dark wood gives it a deep tone, which pairs naturally with linen, plant fibers, or a more weathered decor. Its circular top easily accommodates a low vase or a light bouquet, while its folding structure allows it to be stored without taking up space. As a second-hand item, it carries the memory of its past: a few traces of time.

A brief history of the side table
Born in the 17th century under the name "guéridon," the side table owes its origin to the Moorish slaves (called guéridons) depicted on the carved legs of the first models brought back from Italy. This nomadic piece of furniture revolutionized social life at court by breaking the rigidity of large buffets to create conversation areas anywhere in the room. Its light and compact structure was designed to be moved according to one's needs: to place a candlestick, a cup of tea, or a bedside book.
