Add a funky touch to your living room with this rectangular coffee table from the 70s. Combining elegance and modernity, its glass surface and brass details create an airy and luminous ambiance, perfect for hosting your moments of conviviality. Its chic and minimalist design integrates easily into various interior styles, bringing a retro touch while remaining contemporary. A few signs of wear testify to its history, although it is in good overall condition. For 100% stability of the lower shelf, you can add a small pad.

A little history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the beginning of the 20th century, with the evolution of living rooms towards greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seat of armchairs, is inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous top supported by a short and sturdy base.
