The smoked glass coffee table captivates with its softened transparency and black structure, embodying a very sharp contemporary spirit. As a vintage find, it naturally finds its place in a living room, where its glass top accommodates books, a candle, or a catch-all tray without weighing down the space. Its size slips easily in front of a sofa and complements a sober decor, between black metal and warmer materials. Arrange a stack of books and a ceramic vase on it to create an elegant, airy reading corner.

Width: 40 cm
Depth: 40 cm
Height: 38 cm

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the beginning of the 20th century, with the evolution of living rooms toward more comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seating height of armchairs, is inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Known as a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous top supported by a short, sturdy base.
