Add a touch of elegance to your living room with this contemporary coffee table. Its delicate and refined smoked glass top rests on a black-painted wooden frame, while its metal legs add a modern touch. Perfect for creating a welcoming space, it invites moments of sharing over coffee or an aperitif. A few child-related marks on the edges bear witness to its history and enhance its authenticity.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the beginning of the 20th century, alongside the evolution of living rooms toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, deliberately low to align with the height of armchair seats, was inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Referred to as a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous top supported by a short, sturdy base.
