This forest green wooden coffee table adds a refined touch to a contemporary living room. Its colorful top creates a dialogue with a light wood frame, producing a sober and warm contrast that highlights a fabric sofa or a few armchairs placed around it. As a second-hand piece, it is suitable for both everyday moments and more polished occasions, fitting naturally into a living area where one might place books, a tray, or a vase. Its look pairs easily with raw materials, matte ceramics, or ecru linens. On a textured rug, it holds a low lamp and a bouquet of branches. Like any vintage piece, it carries the memory of its past: some marks.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table did not truly appear until the early 20th century with the evolution of living rooms toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, intentionally low to align with the seating of armchairs, was inspired by oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Often called a "living room table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous tabletop supported by a short, sturdy base.
