With its black and white tiled top, this contemporary wood and ceramic coffee table brings a very refined graphic line to the living room. Its white wooden legs give it a light silhouette that is easy to pair, while its drawer offers valuable storage for everyday essentials. Its measured size allows it to be placed in front of a sofa in a living room, with magazines, a remote control, or a few books close at hand. The contrast between white and black blends easily with a fabric sofa, a plain rug, or a ceramic lamp. This vintage coffee table bears the marks of its history, including some signs of age.

A brief history of the coffee table
Unlike dining tables, the coffee table only truly appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, as living rooms evolved toward greater comfort and relaxation. Its structure, deliberately low to align with the seating height of armchairs, was inspired by Oriental tea tables and 19th-century coffee stands. Referred to as a "salon table" or "cocktail table," it is defined by its generous surface supported by short, sturdy legs.
