Denise, the bistro dining table in oak and iron No. 1213

Sourced for its bistro look, this oak and black iron bistro dining table pairs a light wood top with black iron legs in a measured, farmhouse style. Its table-height format accommodates two to four guests and is perfect for everyday meals, in a kitchen or a dining room alike. The oak provides a warm material, while the iron structure highlights a sober and functional aesthetic, easy to pair with vintage or more contemporary seating. For a simple lunch, it holds a carafe, a few plates, and a bouquet of wildflowers. A second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its past: a few traces of time.

A brief history of the bistro table
A true icon of the Belle Époque, the bistro table was born in the 19th century to conquer Parisian terraces. Recognizable by its cast-iron base and compact top, it fits just as well in an industrial style as it does in a retro one. Sometimes called a "terrace pedestal table," it offers a sturdy and convivial space-saving solution for small areas. Today, it brings immediate historical character to a kitchen or a city balcony.
