This wooden bistro dining table adds a chic country touch to a kitchen or dining nook. Its two drop leaves allow the top to be extended when you wish to host two guests, while its two drawers and the small hatch behind them provide welcome storage for everyday essentials. Its counter height makes it comfortable for a quick meal, a long coffee break, or as a surface for displaying a few decorative objects. The dark wood, with its patinated accents, gives it a warm look that is easy to pair with wooden chairs or rattan seating. Adorned with two cups and a vase of wildflowers, it creates a charming second-hand setting. As a vintage piece, it bears the marks of its history: a few signs of time.

A brief history of the bistro table
A true icon of the Belle Époque, the bistro table was born in the 19th century to conquer Parisian terraces. Recognizable by its cast-iron base and compact top, it fits just as well in an Industrial style as it does in a Retro one. Sometimes called a "terrace pedestal table," it offers a sturdy and convivial space-saving solution for small areas. Today, it brings immediate historical character to a kitchen or city balcony.
