This light wood bistro dining table embodies a country spirit, with a sober presence and drop leaves that provide great flexibility for everyday use. Its tabletop allows it to transition from intimate use to a more convivial table, easily seating four to six guests in a dining room or kitchen. The brass structure in the center adds a touch of refinement and highlights its 1930s look, while the wood retains a bright and warm hue. Scoured and then restored, it is just as well-suited for an everyday meal as it is for a table set for entertaining, with wooden chairs and vintage tableware. On a terracotta-tiled floor, adorned with a rustic bouquet and a few mismatched plates, it creates a perfectly balanced scene. As a second-hand item, it bears the marks of its past: a few signs of wear.

A brief history of the bistro table
A true icon of the Belle Époque, the bistro table was born in the 19th century to conquer Parisian terraces. Recognizable by its cast-iron base and compact top, it fits just as well into an Industrial style as it does a Retro one. Sometimes called a "terrace pedestal table," it offers a sturdy and convivial space-saving solution for small areas. Today, it brings immediate historical character to a city kitchen or balcony.
