This secondhand orange wooden coat rack adds a contemporary and warm touch to the entryway. Wall-mounted and foldable, it retracts to clear wall space when not in use, while offering ten hooks for hanging coats, bags, or scarves. Its subtle presence is just as well-suited to a hallway as a bedroom, where it complements a minimalist interior with a splash of bold color. Installed near a console table and mirror, it neatly holds everyday jackets and hats. As a secondhand item, it carries the memory of its past: a few signs of wear.

A brief history of the coat rack
The term "porte-manteau" appeared in the 18th century, though the concept dates back to antiquity. Initially consisting of simple wall hooks, it evolved into an elegant and functional stand, often freestanding. First appearing in the halls of bourgeois homes to hold coats and hats, it quickly became an essential element of interior design. Today, the coat rack adapts to all styles, combining practicality and aesthetics.
