A little history of the bench
Did you know that the word "banquet" comes directly from the bench? Since the Middle Ages, this piece of furniture for social gatherings brought guests together around large seigneurial tables. Whether in a chic country or industrial style, it is distinguished by its collective seating and robust nature. Sometimes called a "farmhouse bench" or "bench seat," it fits into a rustic or vintage aesthetic depending on its patina. Today, it fits into an entryway or around a modern table to offer generous seating and an extra touch of soul.
