A little history of the bench
Did you know that the word "banquet" comes directly from the word "bench"? As early as the Middle Ages, this piece of furniture for conviviality brought guests together around grand seigneurial tables. Whether in a chic country or industrial style, it is distinguished by its collective seating and robust nature. Sometimes called a "farm bench" or "long bench," it fits into a rustic or vintage aesthetic depending on its patina. Today, it is invited into an entryway or around a modern table to offer generous seating and a little extra soul.
