With its vintage look and Memphis spirit, this metal and glass serving trolley brings a graphic note to everyday life. The red and black tubular metal contrasts with the two transparent screen-printed checkered glass shelves, creating a very clear visual presence. The clearance under the shelf allows you to easily slide in dishes, glasses, or a few books, while the red tubular handle makes it easy to move from room to room. In a kitchen or a living room, it can hold a tea set, a lamp, and a bouquet with a contemporary, curated feel. As a second-hand item, it carries the memory of its history: a paint chip on the handle, slight scratches on the glass, and the 4 lower black clips (on the upper section) are missing.

A brief history of the serving trolley
The serving trolley, also known as a tea trolley or butler's cart, originated in the 17th century. At the time, it was used to serve and clear dishes and tableware during meals. Equipped with wheels, it could be moved from one place to another effortlessly, making it possible to clear the table more quickly by reducing the number of trips between the dining room and the kitchen. Its great utility made the serving trolley an important piece of furniture, also used for serving tea or breakfast. Over the centuries, this small mobile side table has found a place of choice in our homes.
