A brief history of the trolley
The trolley, also known as a serving table, emerged in the 17th century. At the time, it was used to serve and clear dishes and tableware during meals. Equipped with wheels, it could be moved effortlessly from one place to another, allowing for faster table clearing by reducing the number of trips between the dining room and the kitchen. It was due to its great utility that the trolley became an important piece of furniture, also used for serving tea or breakfast. This small mobile side table has found a prominent place in our homes over the centuries.
