With its dark wood, this vintage, thrifted trade piece adds a sober and refined touch to an entryway or living room. Its height allows it to stand along a wall without cluttering the floor, while its modest width makes it a versatile accent piece, easy to pair with a chair or lamp. One can imagine it holding books, decorative objects, or carefully selected tableware. Its slender silhouette highlights the wood material and creates an elegant focal point in the home. In a more intimate setting, it complements a wooden armchair and a stack of bound books. As with any second-hand piece, it bears the marks of its history: a few traces of time.
