Its three-legged structure, adorned with delicate molding, ensures both sturdiness and aesthetics, while its removable top facilitates transport and placement. Fully restored, it integrates harmoniously into a living room or entryway, offering a warm and refined touch. Slight traces of time are present.

Height: 58.5 cm
Diameter: 54 cm

A brief history of the pedestal table
Appearing in the 17th century, the "guéridon" takes its name from a ballet character, "Guéridon," who held a torch. Initially designed as a support for lighting (candlesticks, lamps), this small occasional table is distinguished by its circular top resting on a single central base. Whether in the Empire style in solid mahogany or the seventies style in rattan, it adapts to all interiors as a side table or display piece. Today, it remains a centerpiece for structuring a reading corner with elegance and lightness.
