Enhance your interior with this elegant pedestal table, combining the warmth of light wood with the richness of a red marble top. Its clever design, featuring a removable tray, makes it a piece that is as practical as it is aesthetic, perfect for displaying a trailing plant. This pedestal table will add a touch of sophistication to your living room or entryway while creating a welcoming atmosphere. A few signs of wear bear witness to its history and add to its character.

Length: 38 cm
Tabletop diameter: 38 cm

A brief history of the pedestal table
Appearing in the 17th century, the "guéridon" takes its name from a ballet character, "Guéridon," who held a torch. Initially designed as a stand for lighting (candlesticks, lamps), this small occasional table is distinguished by its circular top resting on a single central pedestal. Whether in the Empire style made of solid mahogany or 1970s rattan, it adapts to any interior as a side table or display piece. Today, it remains the centerpiece for structuring a reading nook with elegance and lightness.
